Ipswich Borough Council Recycling Scheme
Published On: February 6, 2025
On Friday CEO of Cancer Support Suffolk Mark Glenn Murphy Mbe visited Ipswich Crematorium to receive a cheque from the Ipswich Borough Council for a generous donation of £11,600 from their national recycling scheme.
With prior agreement from families of loved ones, metal in cremation ashes is collected and recycled, with all money generated from recycling then given to a local charity suggested by bereaved families.
The money will help us continue supporting the residents of Suffolk before, during and after cancer.
