The winner of “Splash Planet”, the artwork that Ed Sheeran donated to CCiS, has raised £67,000 in ticket sales and donations. We have been overwhelmed by the number of tickets sold and the incredible donations that have been made, and we cannot thank you enough.

The lucky winner was randomly selected from thousands of people around the world who bought a raffle ticket to be in with a chance to win Ed’s painting. Splash Planet’s new owner is Claire Faynor from Vermont (pictured below) who has been a huge Ed fan for many years. The news that she won the prize is especially poignant for Claire as she recently lost someone to lung cancer who she was very close to. Being able to make a donation to CCiS, and to be able to support our charity, has meant a lot to her. She still can’t quite believe she’s won.. she sent a message on twitter saying “Thank you! Still so surreal”
